Some friends (the Anderson family) invited us to go to the Oakland Zoo on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We decided to go since our children have been wanting to go to a zoo for a long time. I didn't take too many pictures, but here are the few I did take. They had a great time and we saw a number of friends while we were there (it turned out to be a very busy day at the zoo with all the schools out for the day)
