Katelyn is very good at mimicking, which means she's picking up all kinds of new words and signs. It has made communication with her so much easier. And she continues to wrap us all around her cute little finger.
Laurel and Samantha took swimming lessons together. It has helped them to get more comfortable in the water, which will pay off this summer as we will swim a lot at the pool across the street. Here is a sweet picture of these two buddies.
Jamie enjoyed going to her friend's baptism one Saturday. She also enjoyed attending Hannah's piano recital.
Mackenzie gave a talk in primary one Sunday. She did a great job preparing her talk by herself.
Adam went to the Father's and Son's overnight campout. Derek was at his last 3 day training for Wood Badge, so Adam went with another dad from church. He had a great time. He loves to camp and takes advantage of every opportunity to go that he can.
Adam and Hannah took an all day babysitting class with the Red Cross. They already knew some of the information, but also learned many things that were helpful. They got to bring home a babysitting first aid kit.
Hannah kept plenty busy with a lot of babysitting. She continues to get many requests, so Derek and I have to be quick about scheduling her time if we want a turn.
I did a lot of driving this month. Taking children and myself to swim lessons, doctor appointments, orthodontist appointments, church meetings, Co-op, shopping, etc. I also was asked to share some information about Food storage at our Relief Society meeting. I'm certainly no expert, but shared what I had learned from our own experience.
It was a good month!
